Students can now opt to enroll in their online program there. There are about 240 students enrolled in this pilot program in Kansas. In Colorado, there is an online high school there that has an enrollment of a whooping 4,000 students. As online education is booming across the country, there is now an emerging surge to even private entities offering sole online education. It is in these schools that parents and guardians must be wary. Parents and guardians of would-be enrollees must carefully check on whether high schools are really registered with the school board in their district or even at the state-level Department of Education. It’s so easy to check. All the parents and guardians need to do is email their local school district board and request for a list of accredited online schools in their area.
